David has been the driving force behind the strategic direction of BIS data centres since he started the company in 1998. His considerable business acumen and vision have played a vital role in BIS’ tremendous growth to establish itself as a leading London data centre owner operator. David started his career in stock broking and corporate finance for a major investment bank during the ‘big bang’ of deregulation and IT investment in the City in 1982. David oversees all aspects of the business and his in-depth knowledge of finance and ability to work under pressure has proved invaluable. When not working, David is a sports fanatic and enjoys golf, cricket and skiing with his son and has a passion for his much beloved Newbery cricket bats.
Samantha’s energy and enthusiasm is infectious and she is the powerhouse behind BIS data centres successful growth and industry leading client satisfaction. She joined the company in 2000 as a dynamic member of the BIS management team and has continuously reinforced BIS’ belief in delivering customised solutions as a direct response to individual clients specific needs. Samantha has over eighteen years of sales experience in the insurance and financial services sector gained in senior roles at companies including John Hancock Financial Services, CATEX and Willis. When not in the office, Samantha can usually be found galloping around the countryside and her horses have been known to answer her mobile.
Ferdinand is responsible for BIS financial management and reporting. He joined the team in Janaury 2002 with a finance career spanning over twenty years. Ferdy brings a wealth of experience from similar senior financal management roles at Chase Technologies and Beanz.com where he was Finance Director. He started his career in Arthur Anderson after graduating from the prestigious London School of Economics in 1990.
Brian’s commitment to delivering excellent customer service has been a decisive factor underpinning BIS’ commercial success. Since joining BIS in 2001, Brian has been responsible for ensuring the business systems are running at peak performance. He has helped shape the company’s infrastructure, operational processes, and support team to become recognised experts in their field. Brian brings over twenty years experience in technology development and infrastructure service delivery together with a passion for customer satisfaction and service availability. His systems engineering background has been gained with companies like Marconi and Nortel Networks. His subsequent experience was gained at a number of technology service providers including COLT.
Julie joined BIS in April 2008. She qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and has advised in-house in the IT sector for the last 15 years. Julie's substantial legal skills have made her an invaluable member of the BIS senior management team.
